🌱 Elev8 Plant-Based: From Pop-Ups to Permanent Roots

Hi there! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by! I’m Amany, the founder and chef behind Elev8 Plant-Based, a soulful, Black woman-owned food brand rooted in flavor, culture, and faith.

Before Elev8 ever had a name, it was just me, an elementary school teacher cooking meals for fellow teachers to bring comfort, ease, and peace to our hectic routines, using food as a way to help us all exhale.

The response was overwhelming.

Teachers would light up when they tasted the meals, saying it was the highlight of their day, something that shifted not just their mood but their spirit. Oh, and when they found out the food was completely plant-based, many were in disbelief:
"Wait… this doesn’t have meat or dairy in it?!"

They couldn’t get enough.

Some even told me, “I would pay you just to have this every day.” That love turned into something bigger: my very first **meal prep business, Tastee Vibez** born right out of the school's breakroom.

Eventually, that passion turned into a mission:
To serve deeply flavorful, plant-based comfort food that makes people feel loved, nourished, and seen.

✨ The Mission

Elev8 exists to bridge the gap between culturally diverse comfort food and conscious eating, without sacrificing identity, flavor, or cultural connection. Our dishes are inspired by global traditions and reimagined with 100% plant-based ingredients that are bold, creative, and familiar. Elev8 redefines what plant-based food can be, proving that it’s not bland, boring, or unrelatable, but deeply flavorful, filling, and full of culture and comfort when elevated.

This isn’t about food trends. It’s about people.

We’re here to break the stereotype, meet people where they are, and show them that plant-based meals can taste like home. At the core, our mission is to build community, serve with excellence, and lead with love, one plant-based plate at a time.

We’ve built something special. And now, the demand is outgrowing the kitchen we started in.

💡 The Problem + Opportunity

In many communities, plant-based food isn’t always accessible, relatable, or rooted in culture. While the movement is growing, there’s still a gap in options that truly feel like home, food that honors tradition while nourishing the body.

Elev8 was created to meet that need by offering flavorful, comforting plant-based meals that speak to every palate... without compromise.

From rasta pasta to lasagna, creamy mac n' cheese, and jerk “chicken” wings, and many more, our dishes celebrate global food diversity in a way that’s deeply rooted and undeniably satisfying.

We’ve sold out every pop-up. Our customers keep asking, “Where can I find your food next?”
Now it’s time to answer.

🚀 Where We're Headed

We’re launching Elev8 at Mess Hall - a licensed commercial kitchen in Washington, DC, to meet demand legally, expand into delivery platforms like DoorDash and UberEats, and serve our growing customer base with consistency and excellence.

But this is just phase one.

Our long-term vision is to open a brick-and-mortar storefront by next year, a welcoming space where plant-based comfort food meets culture, fellowship, and purpose.

This campaign builds the foundation for that dream.
