What is Huntress Haven?

• Huntress Haven is Richmond’s only women’s-only open gym and training facility. We’re creating a safe, welcoming, and empowering space where women can lift, learn, and train with confidence—whether they’re beginners or seasoned lifters.

Why a Women's-Only Gym?

• Many women feel overlooked, uncomfortable and/or unsupported in traditional gym settings. Huntress Haven is designed to remove those barriers, offering a space focused on community, education, and individualized support. We are designing a space specifically for women's unique needs from lighting improvements, equipment needs, and science-backed fitness and nutrition education.

Where will the gym be located?

• We’ve put in an offer on a great space in in the Richmond area, specifically in Henrico County. Once everything is finalized, we’ll share the exact location and details with our backers first.

How will you make Huntress Haven special?

• We’re designing Huntress Haven to feel both inspiring and comfortable. Expect a functional layout for strength and conditioning, bold and empowering aesthetics, high-quality equipment, recovery tools, and small touches like curated music, earthy accents, and uplifting visuals that make you want to come back again and again.

Will you have group fitness classes?

• Huntress Haven’s open gym model gives you the freedom to train at your own pace in a supportive, welcoming environment. For those who want extra guidance, we offer private and semi-private personal training tailored to your goals. All members will be able to also access our app-based workout programs, complete with trainer support and opportunities to connect with others following the same program.

Who is able to be a member of Huntress Haven?

• Huntress Haven is for ALL women —anyone who consistently identifies and lives life as a woman. No matter your age, background, or starting point, you’ll find a place here to grow stronger and feel supported.

How will my contribution be used?

• Your support will help fund our equipment, facility build-out, and initial operating expenses so we can open our doors with less debt and focus entirely on serving our community.

What happens if you don't reach your fundraising goal?

• Every dollar will still go toward opening Huntress Haven. If we raise less than the full amount, we’ll adjust our opening plans while keeping the same mission and quality in mind.

Can I still support if I’m not in Richmond?

• Absolutely! We have rewards like virtual workout programs, apparel, and lifetime recognition for our non-local backers.=

When will the gym open?

• We’re aiming for January 2026, depending on how quickly we can secure funding and finalize the space.
