For years I got headaches, a stuffy nose, and a sore throat from products that everyone else seemed to love. I cycled through "clean," "natural," and "dermatologist-tested" and the problem kept coming back. Eventually I realized it was fragrance; and that realizing it was just the beginning of a much longer search for products that actually worked for me.
That search is why Kynd Alchemy exists.
As a use experience researcher, I spent years studying how people navigate complex decisions. Watching fragrance-sensitive people struggle to find safe, dignified personal care options made the problem impossible to ignore.
Our work has been recognized by Allure, which featured Kynd Alchemy as part of their coverage on fragrance sensitivity and the growing conversation around what "fragrance-free" really means.
I am currently completing a diploma in International Personal Care Science (IPCS) at the Institute of Personal Care Science and work directly with a cosmetic chemist on every formulation. The hero soap was not developed to a trend. It was developed to a standard.
Kynd Alchemy is the brand I wanted to exist. I am building it to last.

The Campaign FAQs
1. Is this product truly fragrance-free?
Yes. Kynd Alchemy products contain no synthetic fragrance, no essential oils, and no masking agents of any kind. "Fragrance-free" is not a marketing claim for us — it is the entire foundation of how we formulate. Every ingredient is listed on the label with a plain-language explanation of what it is and why it is there.
2. What are the ingredients?
Our hero soap is a plant-based liquid hand soap formulated to EU ingredient standards. It contains no synthetic fragrance, no essential oils, no parabens, no sulfates, and no ingredients currently banned in the EU or U.S. The full INCI ingredient list will be published on our website and printed on every label before products ship. If you have a specific sensitivity or ingredient concern you need answered before backing, email us here— we will respond personally.
3. When will my reward ship?
All product rewards are estimated to ship August 2026. You will receive an email with your tracking number when your order ships. If anything changes with that timeline we will communicate it directly and honestly — no surprises.
4. Do you ship internationally?
Not at this time. We are shipping to U.S. addresses only for this campaign. International shipping is something we hope to offer in the future as the brand grows.
5. What if I have a reaction to the product?
Your safety is our first priority. If you experience any reaction, contact us immediately. We take every report seriously and use customer feedback to continuously improve our formulations.
6. Is this the final packaging?
The formula is finalized. Packaging is in its final stages — the bottles and labels you receive will reflect the Kynd Alchemy brand. Sample bottles shown in campaign materials are formula samples from our development process, not final packaging.
7. I saw Kynd Alchemy mentioned in Allure. Can I read that?
Yes — you can access it here. The piece covers fragrance sensitivity and the growing conversation around what fragrance-free really means. We are proud to be part of that conversation.
8. What happens if the campaign does not reach its $18,000 goal?
We are running a flexible funding campaign, which means we keep whatever is raised regardless of whether we hit the full goal. Every dollar goes directly toward getting this product into your hands and funding R&D for what comes next. Your backing is never at risk of being returned due to a funding shortfall.
9. Can I change or cancel my pledge?
Hinter Fund's platform allows you to modify your pledge before the campaign closes. Once the campaign ends pledges are final. If you have questions about your specific pledge contact us and we will do our best to help.
10. Will you make more products after the hand soap?
Yes. The hand soap is our hero launch product and the foundation everything else is built on. What we learn from this launch — the formula, the packaging, the community feedback — directly informs what we develop next. Backers are the first to know about new products.
